As part of Virya Energy's hydrogen activities, you'll join a specialized team developing a growing portfolio of hydrogen production plants across Belgium and the Netherlands, with ambitions to expand further. We combine production development with innovative infrastructure solutions through DATS 24's refuelling network, while actively shaping the hydrogen market by establishing strategic partnerships with off takers. This unique position allows us to drive the entire hydrogen value chain forward, from production to end-user applications. As part of Virya Energy's broader renewable energy portfolio, we leverage the group's extensive experience across the energy sector while maintaining our focused expertise in hydrogen development.

 

We are looking for a Project Manager to support the development of our hydrogen production projects in Flanders and Wallonia. Join us in driving the green transition!

 

Your Role:

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate projects from concept to completion.

  • Monitor project planning, milestones, and overall achievements.

  • Manage project costs and resource allocation.

  • Negotiate with site owners, grid operators, and suppliers.

  • Oversee permitting processes and investment decisions.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, procurement, and finance teams.

  • Ensure compliance with purchase contracts and streamline project execution.

  • Grow your expertise in hydrogen and renewable energy technologies.

Job requirements

  • Master’s degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering, with expertise in electricity, grid capacities, energy markets, or hydrogen.

  • 5-7 years’ experience in energy technologies, hydrogen, industrial gases, or renewable energy.

  • Strong project management skills – organized, proactive, and results-driven.

  • Experience in a coordinating role, ensuring smooth execution and clear agreements.

  • You thrive in an independent role and highly value teamwork.
